At the beginning of each contract I ask the client for images, seeing the work a company does or the products they sell really helps start the creative process. Feeney Interiors sent me links to their suppliers websites, perfect, these images would form the basis of the design, and would inform style, colour, font and other decisions. The images are fantastic, often I have to do a lot of offline work to prepare image for the web, not in this instance. The business also had a text logo in place so this also contributed to the style of the website.

We used Adam at FutureProof Digital to set up our business website and from start to finish he was very professional and prompt. We are delighted with how our website turned out and would highly recommend FutureProof Digital. Thank you from Feeney Interiors Bespoke Kitchens & Bedrooms.
The homepage is always the one that will get the most visits on a service website like this. Think of it as an advert of the content on the rest of the site. It is broken into sections; an introduction to the company, followed by 2 further sections, one on kitchens, one on furniture. The homepage features all the best images from around the site, and links to the next level of content; the individual services that the business offers.
The next level of content for this Kitchen Company Web Design project is are the service pages. More may be added in the future, but to begin with we have a page for kitchens and a page for furniture. The kitchen section of the website is then broken down further, in to styles, traditional kitchens for example. There is also pages for additional features like kitchen handles, appliances and countertops.
We wanted to create as much content for prospective customers to look at as possible. To do this we utilised the marketing material of their suppliers. One of these suppliers has hundreds of high quality images of kitchens in different styles, perfect for Feeney customers to browse through. Each image has a different reference code, so users can note these for their project.
Maybe the most important page... the Contact Page. And just because it's functional, doesn't mean that it can't be attractive to look at. It has all the required contact information, displayed in an interesting way. It also has a Google map with the location of the Feeney Interiors showroom. I included 2 sets of social media icons, one to visit the Feeney Facebook and Instagram profiles, the other for users to share the website this their friends and family.
If you’re a small business owner, then you know that having a website is essential in today’s world. Not only does it give your customers another way to find out about your business, but it also allows you to reach a larger audience than you would be able to if you were only relying on word-of-mouth advertising. However, just because everyone has a website these days doesn’t mean that yours will be successful. It takes careful planning and execution to create a small business website that will help grow your company.
At FutureProof Digital, we understand the importance of small business websites. That’s why we specialize in creating websites that are not only visually appealing and user-friendly, but also optimized for search engines so that you can get the most out of your investment. We believe that a great website doesn’t have to be expensive, and we’re proud to offer some of the best prices in the industry. If you’re ready to take your business to the next level, contact us today to learn more about our small business website design services. We’ll work with you to create a website that is perfect for your company and will help you reach your goals.
Once a website is complete, and it is live on the internet, the work is only just beginning. I include a number of additional services with every web design contact that other companies may not. I don’t see FutureProof Digital as a web design agency only, it’s marketing, it’s branding, and above all it’s search engine optimisation. You can have the best looking website in the country, but it’s all for nothing if it doesn’t rank well, for the terms that matter to the business, and bring in new customers.
There are a sequence of tasks to perform just before, and just after a website goes live, most of them Google related in one way or another. During the design process, all the pages on this Kitchen Company Web Design project have been optimised for a particular search term, I do this for every website. I register with Google Analytics and Search Console, and submit a site-map, this makes it easier for Google to understand the structure of your site. Finally I set up a Google My Business Profile, this helps hugely with local search rankings, so important to a business like this one.
Below are some of the images used on this website. There’s a bit of work involved before they can be used; they all have to be of similar dimensions, and they need to be compressed , reducing the file size so that they load as fast as possible.
