Web Design in Roscommon - A Skincare Products Website for one of Roscommon's Top Beauticians, Orla's Beauty Studio in Castlerea

Beauty Salons are becoming a bit of a specialty here at FutureProof Digital, this is the second in 12 months. Orla’s beauty Studio is located on the main street in Castlerea Co. Roscommon. There will be more work to do on this website in the future, but to begin with the focus was on sales, so we built a Skincare Products Website with only a contact page to book beauty treatments.
There are a number of business models that require an E-Commerce website, but you can break most of them down into 2 groups; product you make and sell yourself, and products that you buy from a supplier and re-sell. This website is the latter, and so involves researching the supplier websites for info about the products, and images, to populate the product pages. All in a days work here, I’ve built a number of these websites in recent years, some much larger than this one, so I hit the ground running.

We design logos and graphics here all the time, but this client already has a logo, so we had a great starting point in terms of colour and style. It's rare that you can take any image file and upload it to a website without first doing some editing. For this logo I needed to remove the black strokes from a water effect background, and photoshop makes this super simple. We are the only company offering Web Design in Roscommon, but there are many extra services that FutureProof Digital provide, that other may not.

WooCommerce is a powerful tool, it powers a large percentage of the worlds E-Commerce websites, but it, and other aspects of the WordPress experience, has imitations. When I start a new project the screen is blank, no themes, no templates. It's more work this way of course, but I want each website out of FutureProof Digital to be totally unique, no two the same. For this site, working in this way led to a unique grid layout on the shop pages, using the colour scheme and font from the client, added to the creative of the process.
